GO SHINE SUMMER TERM
This term we are learning about:
- The importance of Water and Rivers (Geography).
- In Science we are looking at Sorting Materials (solids, liquids and gases).
- We have a few more Art sessions with Mrs Bagshaw, as well as our own water themed art, we are completing over at the Gold Star Centre.
Year 5 are looking forward to:
- GO Fest launch before half term and our GO Fest Festival in June/July.
- Assessment Week in June
- Year 5 Brighton trip July.

Water Themed Art
Our GO Fest was launched on the last day before half term, with a fantastic show starring our very own Mr Flathers, Miss Supperstone and a host of children from both Goldies and The Orion. They put on an amazing show, which set the scene to a fantastic 6 weeks of learning.
We were very fortunate to have Claudia Rose visit both schools and entertain us with her fabulous singing. She also shared about her journey to The Voice and how you never give up and always try your best!
